Two products, two scales. The same underlying platform. The choice between them is operational, not technical.
CybrIQ ships as two products. RoomIQ is the per-room product, optimized for conference-room and AV environments, priced as a recurring per-room SKU. SpacesIQ is the building-or-campus product, optimized for the full network, priced by deployment scale. Both use the same underlying device-identity platform; the difference is what they're scoped to, how they're billed, and which audience inside your organization owns the decision. This page is how to choose between them, and how to mix where the environment calls for it.
Same building. RoomIQ scopes to defined room boundaries; SpacesIQ scopes to the whole network.
Per-room. Conference rooms, AV environments, executive briefing centers.
Built for: conference-room AV environments, hospitality meeting rooms, executive briefing centers, board rooms, classroom AV. Anywhere you have a defined room boundary and a meaningful concentration of audio/video equipment that needs visibility.
Scoped to: the devices on the in-room network or VLAN. Cameras, codecs, microphones, displays, room controllers, dial-pads, room PCs, in-room printers and ancillary equipment.
Billed as: per-room recurring SKU. Annual. Scale linearly with room count; volume tiers for environments above 50 rooms.
Who buys this: typically the AV-and-collaboration team, in partnership with security. In healthcare and federal-contractor environments, the security team owns it because NDAA screening on AV gear is a procurement-cycle concern.
Common motivation: banned-vendor camera screening, room-asset accuracy for insurance and audit, executive-environment threat-detection for higher-sensitivity rooms.
Building, campus, multi-site. The whole network.
Built for: the full enterprise network. Office floors, lab segments, plant floors, clinical floors, retail-store networks, distribution centers. Anywhere you have a network you need continuous-evidence visibility on, beyond the in-room scope.
Scoped to: every device on every managed switch in the deployment. Workstations, servers, IoT, OT, biomedical equipment, plant-floor sensors, cameras, printers, networked appliances, the whole picture.
Billed as: deployment-scale recurring. Annual. Scale by environment size (switch count, device count, framework count). We publish ranges; the demo closes with a tailored quote.
Who buys this: the security organization, with finance and audit-and-risk committee oversight on multi-year deals.
Common motivation: the three Director pressures (cyber-insurance renewal, audit preparation, board reporting), framework-evidence consolidation across PCI / SOC 2 / HIPAA / NIST CSF / CMMC / NDAA.
What the building-scale view looks like.
SpacesIQ's portfolio view, scoped to a sample multi-building deployment. Each building rolls up to a per-site inventory and drift summary; the top bar is the consolidated view your board or audit committee gets.

How to choose, in the order Directors usually choose.
Most Directors arrive with the deployment-scale decision already half-made by their environment. If your active pressure is "PCI evidence pack across 47 retail stores," that's SpacesIQ. If your active pressure is "do my executive briefing center cameras have NDAA-banned hardware in them after the AV refresh last quarter," that's RoomIQ. The cases where the decision is genuinely open are usually in the conference-room-heavy commercial real estate footprint, where either product can serve.
The simplest test: if your evidence question is bounded by rooms, start with RoomIQ. If it's bounded by buildings, segments, or sites, start with SpacesIQ. Most large customers eventually run both; RoomIQ on the high-sensitivity meeting environments and SpacesIQ on the production network. The platform is unified underneath; you see one set of evidence in the dashboard regardless of which products are licensed.
Pilots can run either product, or both, depending on which question you most want answered first. We recommend SpacesIQ-scoped-to-one-segment for Directors whose primary pressure is audit, insurance, or board reporting. RoomIQ-scoped-to-five-rooms for Directors whose primary pressure is AV-network NDAA screening or executive-environment hardening. We discuss the scope question during the demo.
Where they mix.
Three combinations come up regularly. Corporate enterprise plus executive-environment focus: SpacesIQ on the production network for the framework-evidence story, RoomIQ on the C-suite and board-room AV for the higher-sensitivity threat surface. Healthcare: SpacesIQ on the clinical floors for HIPAA evidence, RoomIQ on patient-facing telehealth and conference-room equipment where AV-specific risks (banned-vendor cameras, room-controller spoofing) need separate attention. Hospitality and event venues: SpacesIQ on the back-of-house network, RoomIQ on the meeting-and-event space inventory that customers ask about in security-and-AV due diligence.
In all three cases, the same platform underneath unifies the evidence picture. You don't operate two consoles; you license two products and see one combined view.
