Shai Moshe
Shai Moshe is the founder and CEO of CybrIQ, a cybersecurity company that gives organizations a verified record of every device connected to their network. He started CybrIQ after more than two decades in audiovisual and unified communications technology, the field where connected devices first outpaced the tools meant to track them.
Founder & CEO, CybrIQ
Shai leads CybrIQ from Alpharetta, Georgia. He is responsible for the company's product direction, its patented Layer 1 approach to device visibility, and its route to market through the audiovisual integrator channel.
Professional background
Shai Moshe's career began at Polycom in 2000 as a software quality assurance engineer, working on the video conferencing products that were becoming standard in enterprise meeting rooms. Over the next two decades he held senior engineering and leadership roles across the audiovisual and unified communications industry. At AGT he was a senior systems engineer and manager supporting a global video network of 365 sites. At Easynet he served as a unified conferencing architect in the office of the CIO of Fox, consolidating sixteen News Corp companies onto a single conferencing platform.
He then spent four years at AVI-SPL, rising from subject matter expert to director and then vice president of Collaboration Solutions Engineering. During that period the team won Polycom's 2012 North American Partner of the Year award. He went on to lead video and cloud sales engineering at CDW, managing engineering teams across the country and the company's relationships with major platform vendors.
In 2016 Shai founded Communications Professionals, a unified communications services firm offering system design, implementation, and adoption services. He ran it for six years and led its shift from an on-premises model to the cloud as the technology changed. He completed technical training through Ascolta. Across every one of those roles, the same problem kept surfacing. No organization could say with certainty what was actually connected to its network.
Why he founded CybrIQ
The pattern was visible to anyone who had worked inside enterprise networks long enough. Every audit cycle, the asset register and the network told different stories. The IT team rebuilt the inventory by hand. The security team found devices on the wire that nobody had requisitioned. The audit firm wrote a finding. The next quarter, the same loop ran again.
Shai had spent his career on the device side of that gap. He designed and deployed the conference-room and collaboration equipment that security teams later inherited as unmanaged network surface. He had seen how much of it never reached the asset register, and how little of it conventional tools could see. Network access control saw what spoke its protocol. Endpoint tools saw what could carry an agent. Asset management saw what procurement had logged. The devices that mattered most for an audit were the devices each of those tools missed.
CybrIQ began from a different starting point. A device's electrical fingerprint, read at the physical layer, is the one thing it cannot fake. Read that fingerprint reliably and you can build a per-device record of what is actually connected, regardless of what a device claims to be higher up the stack. That is the method CybrIQ patented as Device DNA, and it is the work Shai founded the company in 2022 to ship. You can read the longer version in the founder story.
CybrIQ's mission
CybrIQ's mission is to identify, verify, and inventory every device and every space, so the boardrooms, meeting rooms, campuses, and critical environments where organizations do business can be trusted by default. Under Shai's direction, the company delivers that through patented Layer 1 technology that identifies every connected device against a reference library of 750 million signatures and produces inventory an audit will accept.
The goal he set for CybrIQ is straightforward. A security or compliance leader should be able to answer the question "what is connected right now" with evidence rather than estimates. The company builds toward that across two products, RoomIQ at the scale of a single conference room and SpacesIQ across every switch port in a building. Detect, correct, protect.
