Products explained

Utelyze runs the room. CybrIQ identifies what’s plugged into it. Here’s where each one starts and stops.

Two products, two scopes, two operator teams. The page below is the one your engineering reviewer wants — what each product reads, what it doesn’t, and which one you reach for first when the customer says “our AV ports are showing up in the audit findings.”

Utelogy · Utelyze

Utelyze is Utelogy's secure software platform that unifies AV and UC estates. The published material describes it as “unified intelligence” with manufacturer-agnostic device compatibility and a single pane of glass across the meeting-room stack. The capabilities the page covers:

  • Monitoring & management. Live device health and uptime across every room. Video conferencing device monitoring across Teams, Zoom, Webex, and the wider list.
  • Usage analytics. Room utilization, performance metrics, long-term trend data.
  • Self-healing automation. Remote remediation that closes a meaningful share of room incidents before they reach the help desk.
  • Estate overview maps. Spatial views of the room portfolio for the operations team.
  • ITSM-aligned alerting. Automated alerts to email or the customer's ITSM.

The Utelogy outcome numbers, as published by Utelogy: mean time to resolution reduced by an estimated 75% within 60 days, level-1 support calls reduced by 67%, energy consumption reduced 44% on average through automated occupancy and standby behavior.

Utelogy's three packages, and where CybrIQ slots into each

Utelogy ships in three packages, each shaped to a different buyer. The CybrIQ pairing maps cleanly to each one because the technical integration is the same: one switch fabric and one change-management window; each product still runs in its own dashboard. What changes is who is operating the deployment day-to-day.

Enterprise

For large, global organizations operating in-house

Utelogy's enterprise package is for IT and AV teams that service their own managed networks. Direct in-house ownership of Utelyze, with the AV integrator on the account for room installs and refresh work.

CybrIQ pairing

CybrIQ deploys on the same customer-installed shape. SpacesIQ at building scale; RoomIQ if the scope is conference-room only. The customer's IT and security teams operate both products in the same operations console. The CISO gets the audit-defensible inventory; the IT director gets the room-health view enriched with device identity.

Managed Services

For service providers running customer estates

Utelogy's managed-services package is for the MSP or AVaaS provider that operates a customer's AV and UC estate on the customer's behalf. Persistent monitoring, asset management, remote remediation, automation, and operational data analytics, run by the service provider.

CybrIQ pairing

The MSP operates Utelyze and the CybrIQ main instance on the customer's behalf. The MSP's NOC opens tickets enriched with both room status and device identity. The customer's CISO receives the signed monthly inventory exports through the MSP's operations cadence. One service-level conversation per quarter covering both surfaces.

Integrator

For AV integrators installing and supporting customers

Utelogy's integrator package is for the AV integration partner that installs, configures, controls, and monitors the customer's AV and UC systems. The integrator is the long-running operational relationship on the customer account.

CybrIQ pairing

The integrator attaches CybrIQ RoomIQ to every Utelyze-enabled room install as a recurring SKU on the same statement of work. Same change-management window, same SNMP credentials handoff, same quarterly customer review. The integrator becomes the single accountable account-side party for both products' operational outcomes.

CybrIQ · RoomIQ

RoomIQ is the CybrIQ product scoped to conference-room AV. It identifies every device on every managed switch port serving a room, at Layer 1, against a 750-million-device reference library. Same software, same Device DNA™ method that runs at building scale in SpacesIQ; RoomIQ is the room-scoped sales unit that attaches naturally to an AV integrator's room installs.

RoomIQ identifies:

  • Vendor-supplied AV gear (codecs, cameras, microphones, displays, room PCs).
  • Wireless presenters, share-screen dongles, BYOD-attached devices on guest VLAN.
  • Building-automation devices that share switch infrastructure with the AV system.
  • Anything plugged in during a contractor visit and left behind.
  • Covered-entity hardware that may have been shipped under a different label (NDAA Section 889 detection).

CybrIQ · SpacesIQ

SpacesIQ is the CybrIQ product scoped to whole-building and multi-site environments. Same Device DNA™ method, broader scope: every switch port in every building. SpacesIQ is the form factor most enterprises adopt when the goal is the audit-defensible inventory across the entire managed-switch footprint.

The boundary between RoomIQ and SpacesIQ is purely scope and packaging. The signal extraction, the reference-library matching, the audit-trail format, and the deployment posture are identical.

Do your existing vendors work with this?

Short answer: yes. Both products were built to be hardware-agnostic from the start. Utelogy reads the AV and UC manufacturers customers actually have in their rooms; CybrIQ reads any managed switch that supports SNMP with read-only credentials, which is essentially the entire enterprise switching market.

A two-row vendor-stack diagram. The top row shows the AV and UC manufacturers Utelogy supports: Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex and Cisco endpoints, Crestron, Q-SYS by QSC, Poly by HP, Neat, Logitech, Yealink, AVer, and the wider manufacturer-agnostic list, reaching Utelyze through manufacturer APIs and the Utelogy monitoring agent. The bottom row shows the switch vendors CybrIQ supports via SNMP with read-only credentials: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE / Aruba, Extreme, Dell, Ruckus, and the broader managed-switch market, feeding the CybrIQ instance via SNMP v3 or v2c read-only. The two products are agnostic in their own layer. There is no software integration between them; the customer's downstream ITSM, SIEM, and NAC each consume the two output streams independently. CybrIQ identifies devices regardless of switch vendor (SNMP is universal); Utelogy reads room health regardless of AV manufacturer (manufacturer-agnostic by design).

Where each product begins and ends

Question Reach for Utelogy Reach for CybrIQ
Is the room operational right now?YesNo
What is plugged into this port?NoYes
Did the codec self-heal overnight?YesNo
Is that camera a covered entity under NDAA 889?NoYes
How was the room used last quarter?YesNo
Can we ship the carrier a signed inventory at renewal?NoYes

The point of pairing the products is that nearly every quarterly review involves rows from both columns.
